• Projekt description

        • The United Nations‘ Sustainable Development Goal 6’s newest target is ‚clean, accessible water for everyone,‘ and our collaboration will set a benchmark for the extremely important Goal, which corresponds exactly with the horizontal priority we have selected. We want to demonstrate how schools and local communities across Europe can take the initiative to help students understand how vulnerable water sources are, while also giving teachers and students from various fields of expertise the opportunity to participate, share, discover, learn, and develop themselves, thereby promoting the importance of inclusion and diversity. We intend to provide students and instructors with several correct multidisciplinary LTT approaches using a modern digital approach, allowing them to discover the many faces of water.

          The goals are as follows:

          1. increase awareness on the subject of the endangered natural global resource – water, the crucial source of life on Earth – by recognizing its quality, demands, and threats on a local and global scale.
          2. raise participants‘ awareness of sustainable consumption and environmental protection; encourage participants to change their attitudes toward the environment, particularly water usage and protection;
          3. establish an open educational foundation based on environmental research
          4. develop students‘ transversal and cross-sectoral skills, as well as their versatility, in order to effectively assist them in becoming well-rounded young graduates, ready for successful future careers (students will combine skills and knowledge while developing activities in various educational fields: ICT, Arts, Biology, Foreign languages, Geography, Psychology, Chemistry – at least 40% of these students will improve these skills);
          5. increase the capacity of both instructors and students to improve their ICT, language, and intercultural abilities;
          6. learn and share LTT experiences across partner nations in order to build essential competencies;
          7. increase students‘ interest in school and educational activities, and support them in being actively involved in their learning process;
          8. promote European values;
          9. provide opportunities for the inclusion of students with economic, cultural, and social barriers. The following outcomes will be obtained: a better understanding of the water issue, a higher level of English proficiency, improved communication and social skills, group work skills, organizational skills, as well as lesson plans, multi-media materials, articles on water research, a Water Protection Contract, dissemination plans, evaluation reports, and surveys.

          By completing this project, we hope to enhance awareness of ethical and sustainable environmental behaviour among students. The initiative will provide students with the opportunity to gain actual and practical experience that will later aid in their understanding of sciences that may appear too abstract and theoretical to them in other ways.
